As Executive Director of the Workforce/MedLink, LLC, Zach Roberts' responsibilities include general oversight, supervision, and evaluation of the overall operations of the company and the performance of the Work Injury Management, Employer Services, and Medical Bill Repricing Divisions.
He started managing work injury claims in 2012 with The Workforce as the Services Director. In 2015, he entered into a corporate partnership with his mother, and original founder of The Workforce, Toni Roberts, to mutually own the company. He was named the sole Executive Director of the newly formed The Workforce/MedLink, LLC in 2018 when Toni passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Outside of the office, he currently officiates professional ice hockey in the American Hockey League and the ECHL - and NCAA Division I Men's hockey in the Big Ten Conference. He is a native of the Pittsburgh, PA area. He attended Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School and earned both his Bachelor's Degree & Master's Degree in Business Administration from South University.
He and his wife Jaime reside in Irwin, PA with their son, Connor, and daughters, Riley and Reagan.
As Case Coordinator of The Workforce/MedLink, LLC, Erin Shakoske’s responsibilities include accessing injured workers to high quality and appropriate medical care, scheduling and preparing injured workers for appointments and testing, and communicating with injured workers, employers and physicians/providers through the life of their reported work injury cases.
She started managing work injury claims in 2018 with The Workforce. Previously, she had worked in Injury Prevention at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is a native of the Pittsburgh area. She attended Gateway Senior High School. She received both her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Master’s Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Duquesne University. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, reading, and painting.
She and her husband Steve reside in Plum, PA with their daughter, Lily, and son, Jack.
As Case Coordinator of the Workforce/MedLink, LLC, Abby’s responsibilities include accessing injured workers to high quality and appropriate medical care, scheduling and preparing injured workers for appointments and testing, and communicating with injured workers, employers, and physicians/providers through the life of their reported work injury cases.
She started managing work injury claims in 2018 with The Workforce. Previously, she had worked in Radiology Registration at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is a native of the Pittsburgh, PA area and attended Highlands High School. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Seton Hill University and will graduate from the MBA in Management program in 2020.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking/baking, doing arts and crafts with her kids, traveling, and watching movies. She and her husband Josh reside in Greensburg, PA with their young twin boys, Jordy and Jaxon.
As Project Coordinator of The Workforce/MedLink, LLC, Kris’s responsibilities include coordinating the medical bill repricing process and assisting with various administrative duties for all three divisions of the company
Kris started with The Workforce/MedLink, LLC in 2018. She graduated from Derry Area High School and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University. Kris has previously worked for Emerson Process Management as a procurement engineer before taking several years off from her career to raise her children at home.
Outside of work, she enjoys coaching her daughter’s lacrosse team and taking road trips with her family. Kris and her husband, Chad, currently live in Murrysville, PA with their two children, Noah and Samantha.
As Finance Manager at The Workforce/MedLink, LLC, Kim is responsible to coordinate the Finance Department of the corporation.
Kim started with The Workforce/MedLink, LLC in 2009 and previously managed the Virginia office of this corporation. Outside the office, Kim enjoys biking, running and teaches multiple fitness classes.
She currently resides in Roanoke, VA with her husband Michael and five children.
